Infection Control Entry Screener

Full time position with benefit. Days, Wed – Sat with Wednesday working only half of a shift in the AM.  Knowledge of the medical field preferred. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time; excellent customer service is a must.   This position provides screening of all persons entering the SLMC building at the front entrance with the purpose of preventing/limiting contact with a person who is potentially contagious. The screener will greet each person, take their temperature, get answers to the screening questions and then direct or instruct the person, accordingly, utilizing proper protocols.
